easy and auto startup

The standard way I want to use screenflow is to record all of my public presentations. But the usual way I need to make a presentation (e.g., giving a keynote at a conference) is to be introduced, and then begin. I don't have the opportunity to switch out of my presentation to launch screenflow and then switch back, and sometimes don't have the chance to set up the machine with the projector before beginning.

There should be a way to (1) have screenflow initiate the record upon the initiation of a Keynote presentation, and (2) specify the settings (e.g., which screen to record) even if the machine is not connected to a projector at that moment (e.g., an ability to say "record from external VGA" even if the VGA isn't then connected, understanding that if the recording starts and no VGA is connected, it won't work).
